Strange Directions

Hey, folks. D.A. here. I just wanted to take a moment and bring you all up to speed on some of the things that are going on within the D.A. Verse. We always have numerous projects going, but things are gaining momentum.

Most recently, I was asked to take over as the Region Two Director for the North American Dogman Project. I was deeply honored to be asked if I wanted to take a more active role with the NADP and I look forward to where this will take all of us. It’s the perfect addition to not only my research but to the many accounts that have come my way through our podcast, D.A. Ex Machina.

That brings me to the next big thing. D.A. Ex Machina is growing. We’ll likely hit the magic 1000 Subscribers point. That’s huge as it will fundamentally change how YouTube views us. We’ll have new features and options available, not to mention being featured in more of the algorithms that allow us to be found on related searches. The YouTube Channel is growing, so if you haven’t had a chance to check it out, you can by following this link. https://www.youtube.com/c/DARobertsAuthor

Please Like and Subscribe, plus hit that little bell icon so you’ll always be informed when we’re going live or post a new video. Every subscriber counts, folks, so please hit that button. Thank you.

The books. Well, that’s the big question. There are plenty of books in the works. This is the projects list, although it is subject to change. All of the ones listed as “Working Title” are going to be decided by the Patreon community.

I’m going to hopefully finish Beast of Blunk Road by the end of October. We hope to have it in edits by then. There could be other books added or removed from this list at any time. This is just my working plan, and it can be shaped with your help.

Yes, we’re not kidding, you can have a direct impact on the course of not only these books, but future projects that have not even been dreamed up yet. You can help decide titles, vote on covers, help brainstorm plots, even have a character based upon you in the book of your choice. Sound interesting to you? Then check out the Patreon community. By getting involved in the Patreon, you can help guide the course of the D.A. Verse as well as be directly involved in the entire process. Check it out at https://www.patreon.com/DARobertsAuthor

Everything from the Patreon goes back into the books and podcasts. From advertising to software to website fees, the Patreon helps us to build the framework that allows us to continue to create stories, provide content, and film videos like the one we recently made in the Land Between the Lakes.

We’re going to be expanding the audiobooks. Camron Buckner from the Dixie Cryptid Podcast will be lending his voice to the Code Name: Wild Hunt series and possibly The Nightmare Hunter Series. I’m super stoked about having him narrate the books.

Neoma Finn, also of the Dixie Cryptid Podcast as well as the What If It’s True Podcast, will be doing the Lakeview Man series. There might be other projects that she will also be involved in. She’s amazing and I love working with her.

Matt Roper is tackling the Apex Predator Series. His unique voice will bring life to the characters and enhance the story. Allison Kocher is working on the Ragnarok Rising Saga. Her voice brings a quality to the series that I like. It sounds like Spec-4 is narrating it and I like that thought.

Then there is the video game based on the books. Yeah, that’s happening. The folks over at All Tower Media are working on that very thing. Watch this page as well as the Facebook pages for myself and All Tower Media for updates. It’s still in the development stages, but what I have seen looks amazing. We think you’re going to love it.

I think that’s about it, for the moment. At least all I can think of. We’ll add other updates as they arise. So, stick with us. There are a lot of things going on in the D.A. Verse. You can be a part of it all. We’d love to have you.

Writing is a journey that we take together. Thank you for taking it with us.

I want to know when you’re going to get the whole Lakeview Man/Apex Predator/Wild Hunt series to hit the big screen! I think you could make at least 8 movies! You would certainly give Marvel a run for their money!

I have started reading books by DA Roberts after Cameron Buckner narrated The book Oden’s Call. But my confusion is when I read the series and then have to backtrack on some events that had happened. Don’t get me wrong, I love reading them, even though Apex Predator series scares the heck out of me. I just wanted to know why they backtrack alot of the stories.
