Hello Mr. ROBERTS My name is Sandy and I wrote a comment a few minutes ago but somehow I lost it and I don’t know if it sent or I accidentally did something. Any way I’ll have to make this short now. I looked you up online after listening to Wolf Moon on Cams site. I knew you must have lived in Lebanon because you knew the roads and places so well which made me wonder if parts of this story is true. I have a small farm down by Truman Nd pomme de terre kinda inbetween. I have lived here thirty years but now I’m in Nixa. I’m sure you know where that is since you live in Springfield,Mo. I was happy to read you were a neighbor. I thought maybe you are the person I need to talk to after reading your field of studies. I ve made some comments on Cams site but everytime I try to write about thirty years of experiences there, I get anxious and hold my breath alot and just can’t seem to finish. There is so much I just can’t finish. the arthritis in my hands doesn’t help. I moved up here to get a break from everything down there. Maybe I just need to talk to someone like you who knows about this kinda stuff and the area. Your book scared the hell out of me because of what I’ve been thru. Everyone in my family is a witness to many events. I want to go back home but I don’t know what to do. It’s very expensive here in Nixa renting but at least here I have a Lil bit of nothing happening, lol,if that makes any sense. I hope you can make heads and tails out of this. Thankyou for your time. It would be good if I could talk to you somehow sometime. I’ve never talked to anyone online like FaceTime before and I know how to turn a computer on.lol. Anyway, goodnight and thankyA

Thankyou Mr. D for your reply so quickly. I’ve been working on an email on my computer for you with a different email address. I’ve not used a computer since college, maybe 2003,lol. Anyway I’ll get it done if it’ll stop disappearing halfway in. I learned in college to constantly save my work but im obviously doing something wrong but I’ll get it figured out and send you an email about a few things and we can take it from there. Mr.Roberts, thankyou, for your time and have a blessed day!

I have 12 of your books, DA! Your killing me, I can’t put them down when I start reading one! Read all 5 “Apex Predator” books, all 3 of “The Lake Man”, 3 of “The Wild Hunt”, and the “Nightmare Hunter”! My question is now that you’ve made Will Grayeagle and Maj. Daniel Clark my new Hero’s, what are you going to do now with Grayeagle, Sarah, and Jason now that they’re in an alternate Universe? I truly love the books and a big time cryptid fan (even though I’ve never seen one)!

I do not know which book I read first but it opened a door to a whole new genre I had no idea I needed-military horror. Action horror? I have no idea what to call it but I have devoured everything I’ve found and today started Dark Frontiers which prompted me to write you.

So big fan, love your style but wish you had a system of organizing the books which are in the same univers. I actually wrote a review of one series, pointing out a character was dead in a previous book but ended up sitting at a table in the next one. I did not know your series overlapped with the same characters weaving into other series where they were secondary characters and could have major life changes. A subtitle or just a blurb on the cover that says “Book 1 in the ____ Chronicles” would help us, your fans, follow your time line. I hate I made that error in a review and gave you 4 stars I stead of 5 because of ‘editing errors!’ My bad.

I need to gush more, I don’t want this post to feel like a criticism. I had a bone graft and did nothing except read for more than 2 weeks and read for hours and hours at a time. Even though I don’t like post apocalypse books usually, after all the others, I also read Ragnorok series over 3 days. I think I slept, ate, and read and that was it.

Anyway huge, HUGE fan! Take care of yourself so you can write more! Diabetes is an insidious disease.

(Being a huge Kolchak fan, I loved Nightmare Hunter and hope he just lost his hat and that wasn’t his blood…)

      3. I’m glad you enjoy the books. In some of the cases, like in the Wild Hunt books, the Code Name might get reused by a different character like in the case of Heimdall. We’re actually on Heimdall #3 in the books. Lol. I have a master team list that I constantly update. I should start including that at the back of the books. Lol. I’m really glad you enjoy the series. I do have a suggested timeline on the website that should give you the best order to read them all in. I’m always looking for ways to improve the books and writing, so maybe I can come up with a way to organize all the series into a larger saga order. That might work. Thanks for the idea. -DA

        Sir ( D.A. Roberts ),
We have emailed before, and I must say…Any of your books or series I can honestly say or compare to my favorite SCIFI collection of classic movies, No matter how many times I view these movies, it just never gets old, only better and better with each viewing I discover new treasures—And….so is the wonderful of Wild Hunt.
Thank you for proving a vehicle of books in which to travel at high speeds.

There’s also a FABULOUS Tie in with another fictional character on Cam’s YouTube channel. I can only hope that Cam is the future selected narrator! Then I will be purchasing the audio books!!! Both men deserve credit for the life breathed into the characters! Way to Write them!!! Best wishes DA may you be prolific! Thanks again for sharing your work!

I came across one of your books when I was locked up doing some time for a crime I didn’t commit, like the other 99.9% of the guys in there 🤣 . No, I did the crime and all that I wanted to do was my time and to get out to start my life, crime-free. My first cellmate only had a few months to go before he was to be released, so I figured there was no need for me to get to know him. We didn’t talk much he was always reading and I was trying my best to not look scared and fit in. A few weeks before he was to be released he asked me if I knew how to read. I thought he was joking at first, so I
LOL and said, of course I know how to read. It turns out he didn’t know how to read and was trying to teach himself with one of your books. He asked me if I would read to him at night and he in return would leave me all of his belongings, when he gets out. This man was in for 5yrs and in those 5yrs he had quite a few items that were hard to come across, so I said yes and started reading to him every night after the lights went out. Apex predator book #1 was the first book that I read to him. He had the series to Apex predator up to book #4 and was waiting for book#5 to be released. I read books 1-4 to him and unfortunately he was released and we never got to read book#5 together. We became good friends in the few weeks leading up to his release date and I was sad to see him go but at the same time happy for him. He was true to his word and the day he left he gave me everything he owned. A few weeks went by and one day in my mail was book #5! My time was slow but I eventually got out and my last day there I gave all of my belongings to my new cell mate. When I told him he could have all of my stuff but under one condition, that when he was to be released he had to give his new cell mate the 5 books to Apex predator. Your books helped me out in a time of my life when I was at my lowest. I hope by me giving your books to that young man, that they help him out, as they did for me and that he gives them to his next cell mate and so on and so on. Now that I’ve been out I’ve read all of your other books and I’m hooked!

Thank you for writing such amazing books and when is book #6 to Apex predator series coming out? I can’t wait.
Once again Thank you D A
Please forgive me I wrote this on my phone and my fingers are to big for these little letters.

I have an idea for the Wild Hunt series. I think that since there are now international operators recruited for the wild hunt, you should do spin offs on some of their teams, like the British, Japanese, and Norwegians. Since Curse of the Wendigo mentioned that many of these countries have their own cryptid teams, it would be cool to expand on the team and the operators prior to their recruitment to the wild hunt. You could explain why the Spanish soldier, Sergeant Mateo Lopez is nicknamed “Gato Negro”, or “Black Cat”. You could explain the mysteriousness behind Noah Davidson. I just think it would be cool to see all these foreign soldiers on their respective monster hunting teams before the Wild Hunt, and it could flush them out more. Also, you could have them go up against some awesome creatures from their mythology, like the Japanese could fight Tengus, and even Kaijus; For Norway you could have them fight trolls and other monsters from Norse mythology; For the British you could have them fight dragons, vampires, ghouls. It’s a long pitch, but what do you think?

I have an idea for the Wild Hunt series. In Curse of the Wendigo it was mentioned that there were teams around the world that investigated and eliminated cryptids the same as the Wild Hunt. How about, for spin offs, you could write about these teams as well as the operators who were selected to join the Wild Hunt. For example, one book you could write about the Japanese team and tell it from the perspective of Ken Nakamura, who was mentioned in Blood Eagle but not really talked about or shown, and you could do the same for the Norwegian team, and tell it from the perspective of Kaptein Oystein Mork, whose callsign was Claymore. For the British team, you could tell that story from the perspective of Noah Davidson and flush out his story more as you had written that there was something mysterious about him. You could even explain how Spain’s representative, Sergeant Mateo Lopez got his nickname “Gato Negro”, as it means “Black Cat”. I personally think that these spin offs could explore and flush out the international group better and show why their respective countries selected them to join the Wild Hunt. I also feel like since Operation Blood Eagle talked about how some of the monsters were not just cryptids but creatures straight out of folklore, you could include some awesome monsters and threats from say Norse mythology and Japanese folklore, as well as creatures like dragons, vampires, etc. What do you think?

    Good evening Sir,
I purchased the Lakeview series, holy fuck. I have read the series three times along with the Wild Hunt books and created a notebook trying to understand the time line. What an excitement and a personal walk into darkness. Thank you…I love it. And I believe these fuckers exist.
I witnessed something in 1993 on hwy 50 in northern California between south lake Tahoe and Placerville, Hang Town USA. I am getting goose bumps remembering.

Just added the Uncanny Valley as well. I am retired LASD, 27 yrs hunting human monsters, but nothing like the book, then again, there was some high strangeness.

    God bless…keep them coming.

I just read your comment and I, first and foremost, would like to thank you for your service and second can say that I would think that the human kind of monsters would defiantly be the worse than the cryptid kind just because the human kind choose to be that way and a lot of times strive to be, its scary times, I believe there are things out there that cannot be explained and do not want to be found out and i still am more scared of the human kind of monster.
