reading the demon of Palo duro canyon and have read the other books in the dark frontier series but i feel I missed something along the way as there seems to be a lot of backstory I don’t know. For instance Rocky’s backstory

You can find that in the short story collection, “Death Stalks Moon Valley.” You’ll meet Rocky and Mel in a story there.
