Hey folks. This is a short story that I wrote following characters in the Ragnarok Rising Saga, but not any of the main characters. Originally, I wrote this story for a charity anthology, but they ended up not publishing the anthology. I decided that since I had already written it, I should go ahead and share it with you, the readers.

Last Girl Standing follows a young mother who has had her entire world turned upside down and finds within her the strength to not only save her children, but to overcome all the obstacles in her way. This story was meant to showcase all the other acts of heroism that were going on during the Ragnarok Rising Saga, not just the exploits of the main characters.

In that theme, I plan to do a few more like this. Stories that showcase characters that might not have been in the limelight or might not have been mentioned at all. I hope you like Last Girl Standing as much as I did writing it. I’d definitely like to revisit the world of Ragnarok Rising and walk those old familiar paths again.

There are a lot of stories in that world that are yet to be told. So many paths yet to be taken. Would you like to take a few of these paths with me?
