The Evolution of the Wild Hunt

The Evolution of the Wild Hunt

I began the adventure that would become the Wild Hunt earlier this year with just a basic idea and a few good friends who were willing to help me do some research. Little did I know just how rapidly this project would take on a life of its own. I’ve been both humbled and thrilled at the surprising way this project has evolved and the unexpected support it would find.

The second book of the Code Name: Wild Hunt series was just released this week. Code Name: Wild Hunt – Curse of the Wendigo continues the adventure that was begun in Code Name: Wild Hunt – Odin’s Call. It was during the writing of this sequel that things took a strange turn.

I hear from fans of my writing from time to time, and I’m thrilled when I do. I love to hear comments from people who have read my books and enjoyed them enough to want to tell me about it. To me, that’s one of the best things about being an author. I love interacting with fans of my writing. After all, writers create stories for people to enjoy. That’s why we do it.

While I was writing the rough draft of the second book, I was contacted through social media by someone who wanted to tell me how much he had enjoyed my work. While I was thrilled to be contacted, I was shocked when I realized who it was.

R. Clint Bruce is a well-known figure in both the military and business world. Clint is a graduate of the US Naval Academy, Former US Navy SEAL, Former Special Operations Officer in Naval Special Warfare, a former NFL player, a decorated athlete, and an Entrepreneur. He co-founded Trident Response Group (TRG) and is the Founder and Speaker for HoldFast HQ.

Clint is an amazing person and a true hero. He’s been very supportive of my writing and has been giving me insights and input on the Wild Hunt series. I’m proud to know him and to count him among the fans of my books. His wisdom and experience have already helped to shape the course of the books.

The Wild Hunt will continue to evolve and grow. I’m very excited to see where it will take us next. With the continued support and encouragement from you all, I look forward to a long writing career.

Thank you all.
