Ozarks Haunted Pathways

Ozarks Haunted Pathways

Hey, folks. DA, again. As some of you might remember, a while back I mentioned starting a YouTube channel for creepy, scary and interesting places in the Ozarks. Well, I finally took the plunge and started it. So far, I only have a few videos up but I’m working on doing more. I’ll add them as time and health permit. I’m having some back issues at the moment, but I won’t get into that. The channel is called “Ozarks Haunted Pathways” and you can check it out and hopefully subscribe to it at the link below.

How does this affect my writing, you might ask? Well, I’ll try to explain. For one, for the places that I haven’t written about yet, making the videos allows me to walk them over once again to get it fresh in my mind. For another thing, it allows me to show you the places that I have already featured in my writing. Some of you may be familiar with these places, but for those of you who have never been to the Ozarks, you might find some of these places interesting. Who knows, it might also inspire you to want to visit them for yourself. If you do, I’d love to see the pictures you take and please contact me on social media or via email and tell me about your adventures. I would honestly love to hear about it.

Now, if you are from the Ozarks and you know of places that I haven’t been to or seen, please let me know. I would love to hear about them and maybe go explore them. I have plans to visit a lot of different places here in the Ozarks. Now, having said that, the Ozarks covers a lot of territory. I make no claims of knowing all of the Ozarks nor do I make any claims of being an expert in any field. These videos will show the places themselves and I will tell of things I have heard or seen. I will never claim that I know everything there is to know about a subject or a place. We can always learn new things.

There will be times when I relay scary stories or tales that I have heard concerning hauntings or supposedly haunted places. Again, I’m not an expert and will not claim to be. I will relay only things that I have seen or have been told to me. It will be up to you, the readers and viewers, to decide what you believe. Now, having said that, there is a great deal of folklore here in the Ozarks. From haunted buildings, to Civil War battlefields, to ghost towns to just plain creepy places in the woods and countryside. I plan to visit as many as I can, time and health permitting.

History and folklore come alive in the Ozarks. There have been things that have happened in the long history of this area that will both amaze and entertain you. Hopefully, even frighten you a little. I mean, come on, that’s why I’m doing this. To show the creepy, darker side to the Ozarks. After all, if you’re following me, you’re probably just as interested in the creepier side of things as I am.

With any luck, I’ll be back to full capacity soon and I’ll be able to get out to more of these places. I really look forward to showing them to you all. This journey that I’ve embarked upon, to be an author and to share my stories with you, has been an interesting one. Sure, there have been ups and downs, but I’m still here. Still writing books and telling tales. I look forward to where this journey will take us. I really hope to see you all, along the way.

Thank you for everything, folks. Thank you for taking this journey with me. Like I’ve said many times over the years.

The End…is Only the Beginning.
